Aviatize and Taxiway Bravo, compared honestly

Aviatize is a flight-school operations platform covering scheduling, training and grading, billing, maintenance and compliance, with iOS, Android and web apps on every plan.[1] It is priced per aircraft: Core $29, Plus $59 and Premium $89 per aircraft per month on annual billing, or $41, $84 and $127 billed monthly.[1] Recurring bookings start at Plus, and the trial is a 30-day guided trial that starts after a 30-minute fit call.[1] Weight and balance appears as a free calculator on its website rather than in the plan features.[2] Taxiway Bravo is self-serve and flat priced, and computes weight and balance on every booking from that tail's handbook. For a school that needs grading and accounting integrations, Aviatize does more.

Side by side

Weight and balance
AviatizeA free calculator on the website, under Tools; not in the plan features on the pricing page.[2]
Taxiway BravoComputed for the booked load from this tail's own weighing and its handbook's envelope. Out of limits, or missing data: refused, with the reason and the fix. A missing weighing is never a pass.
Handbook and performance
AviatizeWe found no digitized handbook or takeoff and landing figures in the plan features.[1]
Taxiway BravoEach tail's handbook digitized: checklists, limitations, weight and balance and performance. Where the handbook is verified, takeoff and landing distance are computed for the departure's weather at dispatch and kept with the booking. Reference only, not the AFM.

Aviatize Core at $29 per aircraft on annual billing, $41 billed monthly; recurring bookings need Plus at $59 or $84.[1] Our prices are month to month.

At today's prices Aviatize Core on annual billing does not cost less at any fleet size from 1 to 12 aircraft. Our prices are founding rates, locked for as long as a club stays. A club that joins after launch pays $29 for Starter and $79 for Pro. At those prices Aviatize Core on annual billing still does not cost less at any fleet size from 1 to 12.

Subscription only, per month. Payment fees depend on how members pay; the fleet-cost calculator adds them for both sides, with every outside figure sourced.
